Truly Madly Stampin Launch Projects

To introduce our potential crafters to Stampin Up! I thought I would use the Easy Events set at our launch as it is such a versatile set for all occasions. What I like about this set is that you can easily ink the stamps with the Stampin' Write Markers and then stamp them as well as exchanging the greetings on the stamps and then colour them in again using the marker pens. I also incorporated the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stacks making them look like strips of ribbon. The punches used were 2 3/8" Scallop Circle and 2 1/2" Circle which suited the Easy Events stamps perfectly.  Some Pearl Basic Jewels were added to some of the designs for that extra bit of embellishment!
The card stock used is Very Vanilla and Early Espresso - again two very versatile colours for all occasions and base card colour.

As our launch was a few days before Valentines Day, we thought we would give our guests the option of creating a simple but effective Valentines card for their special person and to have a go with the Big Shot. This design was taken from an idea I had seen on the internet. For this deisgn we used the Hearts a Flutter Framelits from the Spring/Summer catalogue which has a co-ordinating stamp set. We pierced a heart on the Whisper White card stock using the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and layered two strips of  More Amore Specialty DSP on top.  We die-cut the heart in Cherry Cobbler and added this on top, using a pearl to finish it off. The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set. The background card is also Cherry Cobbler card stock with Whisper White being used for the main card.
