This is a card that I designed for our first Stampin' Up! workshop at my lovely sister-in-laws! I used the coordinating Snow Festival Designer Paper Series and Owl Ocassions stamp set on this card. I have used the gorgeous Lucky Limeade in-colour cardstock as the main card background which I then stamped with the woodgrain stamp. I used Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Baja Breeze and Early Espresso to stamp the owl image and presents. This is such a fun and cute card - really cute! Hope you like it too! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Card making time!
Hazel and I are very busy this month with fayre bookings; we decided that we would make some simple yet effective Christmas cards for these events. Here I have used the Delightful Decorations stamp set - the baubles are stamped using Baja Breeze and Marina Mist inks. The Snow Festival Designer Paper Series adds a lovely background framed by Baja Breeze cardstock. I have used Old Olive Taffeta ribbon to add that final touch! The Curly Cute Seasons Greetings looks really good on this simple yet effective card.

Dinoroar
I fell in love with this Dinoroar stamp set - it is really cute and a brilliant set to create a fun birthday card for little boys! I wanted to create a card that looked as if the dinosaurs were on a grassy hill side and thought that a 'side step card' would be perfect to create a bit of depth! I used lucky limeade for the main card and stamped the images on whisper white card. This card did require a lot of colouring in using the following ink pens: Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant and Early Espresso; but the end result is well worth the effort!

Cupcake Handbags
When I first saw this card on my up-lines display, I just
loved it and couldn’t wait to make it! It so cleverly uses the Create a Cupcake stamp set and Cupcake
Builder punch by rotating the ‘cake case’ 180 degrees for the main part of the
handbags. The handles are semi-circles
made from a ¾” circle and ½” circle punches.
Semi circles are also used to create the ‘flap’ of the handbag. This
colour combination used here is Pretty in Pink, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush
(2010-2012 In Colour now retired) and Whisper White. But any contrasting colour combination can be
used. The greeting also comes from the Create a Cupcake punched out with the
modern label punch, backed by a pretty in pink scallop oval and set off with
two mini brads. The large sized pearl acting as the handbag’s clasp sets off
the Perfect Polka Dots embossed background.
A lovely card for anyone with a passion for handbags!
Pop-Up Daisy
I loved the freshness of this design and the way the daisy
stands out so well on this easel style card.
A simple colour combination of Whisper White, Early Espresso, Wild
Wasabi, Daffodil Delight and Pretty in Pink.
It comprises of two layered Whisper White Big Shot Scallop Circles with
the top one cut to resemble petals with the outer rim daubed with Pretty in
Pink and the sides of the petals daubed with Daffodil Delight. The easel base is cut from a folded Wild Wasabi Big Shot Scallop Circle with a
Whisper White 3 1/2” circle insert. The
greeting comes from the Create a Cupcake
stamp set – this greeting sits perfectly within the Word Window and backed with
a Wild Wasabi Modern Label. The daisy
flower centre has been created from a piece of Daffodil Delight that has been
embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots folder and punched out with a 1 3/8”
diameter circle.
This card is suitable for all sorts of occasions just by
changing the greeting.
Elegant Wedding Hearts
How about this for a simple but elegant wedding card! Using
a colour combination of Whisper White, Basic Black and Pink Pirouette and in
this case Real Red for the bow tie (but this can be adapted to suit the known
colour scheme of the wedding). The bodies of the ‘bride and groom’ are made
using the Full Heart Punch and the line of Pearl Basic Jewels really sets of
the bodice of the dress. The greeting is taken from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and heat embossed using Gold Emboss Powder. By using the ¾” Circle Punch to inversely trim
the corner of the inset card layers ‘softens’ the borders and finshes off the
card.

Owl Party
This was a card I created for Alli's birthday as she likes the versatile Owl Punch. This uses the Up, up and Away, Woodgrain and Happiest Birthday Wishes (retired hostess set) stamp sets. Colour combination is Early Espresso, Old Olive, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Baja Breeze and Sahara Sand. Finally the punches that were used are 1 3/4" Scallop Circle, Petite Pennants Builder and Owl Builder. The spotty card was created by using the spotty balloon stamp onto card and then punched out with the relevant punches. Any coloured card stock would give a similar effect. By layering the scallop circles and daubing the edges with Early Espresso gives a subtle effect of depth to the card. Finally daubing the edges of the greeting with contrasting colours adds the final touch.
As you can see this creates a fun card suitable for all ages!

Bright Blossoms
I really love the Bright Blossoms stamp set, and as Stampin' Up have brought out the co-ordinating Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper in their current annual catalgue; I couldn't resist having a play! This is the end result - which I am really pleased about!
This uses the Bright Blossoms and Teeny Tiny Sentiments and Itty Bitty Bits stamp sets. The colour combinations are: Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder, Early Espresso and Lucky Limeade. I have used the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and the new 2 1/2" punches. I have also used the Mat Pack to pierce around the edge of the Wisteria Wonder Cardstock. I think that makes such a lovely card; I hope that you like it too!

Need for Speed!
Hazel and I have finally been taking lots of photos of our cards to share with you all and give you an idea of the great cards that you can make using Stampin' Up products!
This uses the Need for Speed and Curly Cute stamp sets, Hazel's colour combination is Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Bashful Blue and Island Indigo. The patterned paper is from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue. Finally the tempting turquoise glimmer brad sets the Happy Birthday greeting off a treat! An ideal male greeting card.
